Three steps to your new account
-
Connect both accounts
Log in with your old account, then your new one. Login happens on Spotify’s own page, so your password never reaches Kooch.
-
Choose what to bring
See every playlist, liked song and saved album. Move it all with one switch, or pick a few.
-
Move it
Your own playlists are recreated with the same name, cover and order, and you can watch the progress live.
Questions
Why does the Spotify login open again for the second account?
Spotify asks for permission once per account. If the login still shows your old account, tap “Not you?” and sign in with the new one.
Will anything be removed from my old account?
No. Kooch only reads from the old account and never removes or changes anything there. All changes happen on the new account.
Are playlists I saved from other people moved too?
Yes, they’re followed on the new account, so you keep getting updates when their creator adds songs. Your own playlists are copied in full.
What if the transfer stops halfway?
Start it again. Kooch finds the playlists it already created and only adds the missing songs, so nothing is duplicated.
Does Kooch cost anything?
No, it’s free. All you need is a browser and two Spotify accounts.
